Asian Kaleidoscope Month

I have been involved with Asian Kaleidoscope Month through multiple roles, including competing in the Mx. AASU Pageant, serving as Pageant Director, and currently acting as Executive Director. AKM celebrates Asian culture and heritage through five major events held each March, alongside collaborative programs and fundraising initiatives.

Through this work, I have helped shape large scale cultural programming, coordinated teams and partnerships, and supported fundraising efforts benefiting the National Coalition For Asian Pacific American Community Development. This experience has strengthened my skills in leadership, event strategy, and translating cultural values into meaningful public facing experiences.

Sparks Magazine

Sparks Magazine is an APIDA culture and experience magazine that produces semesterly issues centered on identity, creativity, and lived experience. I have served in multiple leadership roles, including Publicity Chair, Publicity Director, and currently Managing Editor.

Across these roles, I have supported editorial vision, overseen content development, and ensured cohesion across written, visual, and digital storytelling. This progression has allowed me to develop a strong understanding of audience engagement, editorial strategy, and collaborative creative production within a publication setting.

Strike Magazine

My involvement with STRIKE Magazine began as a Brand Ambassador and has since progressed into a Marketing Assistant role. In this capacity, I support collaborative marketing campaigns with businesses and organizations, assist with brand partnerships, and contribute to regular tabling initiatives and staff organized photoshoots.

This experience has strengthened my understanding of brand activation, experiential marketing, and audience outreach, while working within a fashion focused media environment that values collaboration, visibility, and creative experimentation.
